Bonnie Swank wrote for several years a monthly article for the Out & About magazine titled “Farmer in the Field” . She wrote about seasonal California produce shareing interesting facts and recipes you may enjoy. She got the idea for Farmer in the Field while watching a cooking show. When the host cut into a tomato that was obviously hard and tasteless she turned to the T.V. and said to the host “oh my, what you need on your show is a farmer in the field to talk about what’s in season”. You never know, it might happen. In 2016 Bonnie chose to discontinue writing for the magazine to concentrate on sharing this information through “Bonnie’s Blog” which was launched in 2017 along with their new website.
